I am an Associate General Counsel for the Alabama Department of Education. I am also an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alabama. I am a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the past Chair of the Alabama State Bar's Section of Administrative Law. I was the 2024 President of the Hugh Maddox Inn of Court, a Montgomery, Alabama, Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
Years ago, I was a Central Staff Attorney for the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals in Montgomery, Alabama. Before holding that position, I worked for John B. Crawley, the Presiding Judge of the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, from October 2005 until he retired in January 2007. Because I am an Assistant Attorney General, I can only represent the state of Alabama.
